.:*HSV Academy Arc's Lost Story: Graduation Day*:.

Morning had arrived as the ♥birds and the bees♥ had flittered around the flowers of the Hanabira household. From inside the large home, the soft and gentle sounds of a woman humming could be heard while she was ♥walking♥ around her house. Standing in front of a full length mirror, she had smiled while applying some of her special occasion make up on her lips that would give her a splash of ♥color♥. The woman was Chirari Hanabira, and she was now putting the final touches in her hair by putting into a fashionable bun. “I can’t believe that the day has finally arrived.”

Dressed in a black and pink kimono with embroidered floral patterns, Chirari had ♥danced♥ around in circle and took in her appearance. If her husband. Seiji was here, then he would want to ravish her in his arms and would want to do other things because she looked just that beautiful on this lovely morning. “It seemed like only yesterday when he was starting out in his first year.”

From the ♥elementary♥ training ♥exercises♥ to the times of playing ♥wizards♥ games, Medashi was going to graduate from the Academy and become a genin in training. The auburn-haired boy had worked so hard and ♥expanded♥ his mind far beyond mental limits to get to this point in his life.

“I know, right?” Michiru, Medashi’s sassy grandmother was sitting in her favorite chair, waiting for her daughter-in-law to finish getting ready. “Time certainly flies, doesn’t it?”

A few moments later, there was a knock at the door. The two women wondered who could it be so early in the morning. Coming up to the door, Chirari had answered and she was greeted with two familiar children - a boy and a girl in this case.

“Surprise!!!” Kiyoko and Koichi chimed together. “Morning, Chirari-san, Michiru-obāchan!”

“Good morning, you two.” Chirari had moved over to the side to make room for them to come in. “Come in.”

“Hey there, my little whippersnappers. Want something tasty while you wait?” Michiru chidded and offer the children some of her famous homemade powdered cookies with herbal tea. Excitedly, Kiyoko and Koichi hurried over to the living table to help themselves to the treats.

“I’m gonna see if my son is ready.” The auburn-haired woman exited out the living room and into a hallway, making her way down the rooms until she had reached his. “Medashi, your ♥friends♥ are here!” Chirari had knocked on the door, but there was no answer. So she had tried again, but this time, she went inside of his room and closed the door behind her. On the edge of the bed, she had noticed that he was fully dressed, but he was being so ♥silent♥ - even more so than usual. “Honey, what’s wrong?”

When Chirari got closer to Medashi, she had seen a sliver of clear liquid cascading down his face. Her peruvian brown eyes had widen from why he was taking so long to get himself together. Like an ♥arrow♥ to her heart, she had felt the pain that her child was feeling and it was not the kind of emotion to feel before a special event.

“It’s my graduation day and my grandfather isn’t here to see it.” Looking out the window, Medashi saw of the birds taking flight in the air. “Even my own Dad isn’t here. Not that he would care about something like that, anyway.”

“Medashi, you stop that right now.” Chirari had sat down on the bed next her son, placing her hand on top of his and showing him through physical ♥contact♥ that she was gonna be here for him. “This is a special day and you’ve worked very hard to earned it. By testing your strength, you proven to everyone that you are a worthy shinobi. I am so proud of you and I know Fuyō would be too if he was still here with us. Besides, you adopted the ♥mind palace♥ skill that your grandfather was famous for and you have your father’s astute speed and agility.”

“I know that, Mom, but still…” Medashi had clenched his fist in irritation. “...it doesn’t feel right.”

“I know how you feel, honey.” Chirari stated. “Everything's gonna be okay and you know we’re having that after-graduation party later, right?”

“Mom, you know I don’t like parties.” Medashi replied dryly. “When I’m around too many people, I end up turning into a ♥statue♥ and don’t talk to anyone in the room.”

“♥Details♥, details, details, my son. You need to let loose, today. You ♥tested your strength♥ enough for now.” Chirari winked and she had gotten up from off her son’s bed, heading for the door. She opened it and stated in a calm voice. “Don’t take too long now, okay? Time doesn’t stop for anyone and I want you to live your life the way that you want to.”

When the door had closed again, Medashi looked over at the nightstand and saw a picture with all of his family members together. The auburn had focused on the section of the picture where Medashi and his cousin, Hotaka was being held in his grandfather’s arms. He turned his solemn expression into a hopeful one and went into the living room where everyone was waiting for him.

“Medashi-san!!!” The pearl-haired kunoichi had ran up to her friend and gave him quite the hug, snuggling her head into his chest. “There you are!”

“Geez, Kiyoko-san, where’s the fire?” Medashi had tried to ♥escaped♥ Kiyoko’s grip, but it was simply no use. For a girl her age, she had quite the iron grip on him.

“I’m just excited, that’s all!” Kiyoko answered happily, smiling up at him with a warm expression.

“Bro, what were you doing up there? ♥Meditating♥ or something?” There were times when Koichi knew Medashi like the back of his hand and there were those times where he simply didn’t. To Koichi, his best friend’s mind was like a ♥maze♥ at times, but it didn’t really bother him, though. That just made the brunette even more determined to get to know him better.  “Anyway, are you ready for this?! Graduation, HERE WE COME!!!”

With that statement, Koichi had hurried out the door and Kiyoko was slowly tugging Medashi along with her, nearly tripping over his own foot in doing so. Chirari and Michiru were right behind them when Chirari playfully whispered something into mother-in-law’s ear. “Medashi is gonna fall in ♥love♥ with little Kiyoko when they get older.”

“I heard that, Mom.” Medashi interrupted. “Stop spouting crazy nonsense.”

“I give it six years at the most before Medashi brings her back to us - as his girlfriend.” Michiru giggled from how red Medashi and Kiyoko’s faces had gotten. The auburn was more annoyed than embarrassed if anything and if he wanted to, he would of lashed out at both his mother and grandmother. But knowing the both of them, Medashi would get the pigment beat out of him if he were to ever do something like that. Koichi on the other hand couldn’t help but laugh at the pair while they walked down the street, making their way to the Academy where their dreams of becoming shinobi were about to come to fruition.
